Zinaida and Paul Lebedev are Los Angeles–based restaurateurs with a long-standing passion for creating elevated dining experiences rooted in place, history, and design. For more than two decades, they have been known for transforming aging, overlooked, and out-of-date buildings into vibrant restaurants.

The Lebedevs live in Los Angeles with their two children, Alexander and Sasha, and take endless pride in their charisma, curiosity, and deep appreciation for good food.

Over the years, the family has opened a diverse portfolio of acclaimed restaurants, each distinct in cuisine and character, yet unified by a shared commitment to craftsmanship, atmosphere, and thoughtful hospitality:

  • Helix Room — a contemporary tasting-menu restaurant built inside a former industrial space, known for precision cooking and quiet theatricality

  • Park & Madison — a refined New American dining room housed in a restored landmark, emphasizing seasonal cooking and timeless elegance

  • Ascent / Descent — an intimate European restaurant set below street level, where classical techniques meet modern restraint

  • Iron Talon — a fire-driven steakhouse occupying a reimagined warehouse, centered on dry-aged cuts and elemental cooking

  • Luce Verde — a coastal Italian restaurant celebrating regional pastas, olive oils, and sun-washed simplicity

  • Cirque Obscura — a Mediterranean dining space inspired by North African and Iberian flavors, unfolding late into the evening

  • Juniper & Stone — a California bistro focused on local produce, natural wines, and communal tables

This summer, the Lebedev family is honored to open the newly renovated La Casa Sena, marking their first venture in the American Southwest. Drawn to Santa Fe’s layered history, architectural beauty, and enduring creative spirit, the Lebedevs see La Casa Sena as a natural extension of their work and an opportunity to thoughtfully restore and reimagine a storied space for a new era. For the Lebedevs, La Casa Sena represents both continuity and expansion: a deep respect for the past, paired with the excitement of bringing new life, energy, and hospitality to a place rich with memory.
