Time Off
Exodus plans their vacation time a year in advance. You can see all break times in the internal company calendar. It is expected that you are able to work the full length of your contract unless otherwise specified before signing the contract.
Google Calendars
Please join all the calendars linked. If you are having trouble accessing them, please contact Tiff.
Conflicts
Conflicts should be given 3 months in advance. You can ask less than 3 months in advance but there are no guarantees it will happen. Once you have accepted an offer you cannot add conflicts to your contract.
To submit a conflict or period of time you would like to be out please email April (april@exodusensemble.com) and cc Tiff, Bel, and Gregory. If an emergency arises, please contact Gregory and Bel immediately.
If you have a conflict, but you have failed to follow these steps, you are not guaranteed the time off.
How to Use Your MRE Days
If you have MRE dates in your contract and need to use them, please send an email to Tiff, April, Bel & Gregory stating how many days you plan to use and the specific dates.
Breaks and Meal Periods
For 6 hour rehearsal/show days, you will be given a thirty minute on-the-clock meal break. For 8 hour rehearsal/show days , you will be given an hour on-the-clock meal break.
Days Off
For the most part, you will always have two days off in a week. During performance season, our off days are on Mondays and Tuesdays. You are under no obligation nor are you expected to ‘work’ or answer any slacks or emails in any capacity during those days off unless you would like to.
Making Hours
Based on your contract, you will either be a full-time contractor or a part-time contractor. That will define how many hours you work a week. If you feel like you would like to work more than your designated hours, please contact April.
If you are not meeting 40 hours, and would like to do some more work for another team, please contact that team lead to see how you can help!
